The data layer. Sovereign EU cloud on metal we actually own — pipes like a colo, data flowing deep and unbroken. GDPR is not a compliance form here; it is the shape of the architecture.
Data sovereignty is not compliance.
For regulated financial and health-data clients it comes down to one hard test: does the provider own its metal? A hyperscaler's "EU region" under a local brand is not sovereign — the underlying entity is still reachable under the US CLOUD Act, regardless of where the servers physically sit.
Real data sovereignty requires both halves. Miss either one and the guarantee is a marketing claim, not an architecture.
Owned infrastructure
Datacenters, hardware, and network the provider actually controls — not rented capacity in someone else's cloud wearing a local label.
EU-owned entity
An operating company that is EU-owned and EU-controlled, outside the reach of foreign disclosure law. That is the standard we build to.

Zero manual server ops
Ansible, Cloudflare Tunnels, systemd, Tailscale, PostgreSQL + pgvector — everything as code. The infrastructure conforms itself; nobody SSHes in to fix things by hand.
